Advocacy for Protective Parents Facing Challenging Custody Litigation

Event Date
Thursday, September 08, 2016, 01:00PM

In this webinar, noted author and activist Lundy Bancroft (Why Does He Do That, The Batterer As Parent) will discuss the challenges of sharing custody with an abusive partner post-separation. He will examine the parenting issues common to abusers, and how those tactics impact protective parents and their children. Lundy will explore what advocacy strategies during litigation may help to address these issues, and will discuss ideas to help kids cope with a parenting plan that’s not in their best interests. He will also offer suggestions for protective parents who have lost custody to their abusers.
